In this case he was paying me $45 for 2 label designs, meaning that it was only 22.5$ each (a fugging steal imo considering one of the products probably costs around 15-20$).
99% of the time customers are understanding & nice, however there's always a rotten apple once a year who just expects me to straight up refund them after spending 3-4 hours on a design for them. Usually these are the people who have no clue how to order a design & how to describe what they want. As you can see in previous disputes I've had this issue about a year ago & the user was also claiming that I used stolen work & all of that bullsnap (that was only for 25$).
Even after I refunded him he still didn't want to get rid of his hatefull statements about my service, hence why this time I decided to not refund & to just explain the whole situation. It's funny to see that most people are on my side & that they actually like the work that I provided for this "customer".
He's now demanding me to remove all the designs I posted here, which I won't, they belong to me so I can do whatever I want with them.
Besides this not paying much & being quite stressfull ocasionally due to ignorant "customers", I still love doing this & It enables me to create work that will really be used in a lot of different markets & situations, which enables me to learn a lot.
Yeah it really sucks. It belongs right on the clients from hell site. Being a graphic artist generally can be hard with annoying customers. But for the price they should really just be happy that someone wants to make them anything at all.
I’m from a rich western country too. Unemployed people gets +$1500 a month for doing nothing. No way in hell I’ll work unless I earn at least double of what they do.
I’m currently studying multi media design and front end development. I’ll be damned if I’m taking an education to earn $5 an hour.
However I respect other people doing so. Because they can earn a bit while doing their hobby and evolving their craft.

You can call me whatever you want brother, I didnt like your style how you created it and you attacked me that I didnt know what I wanted. I actually knew what I wanted and i just needed something edited but when i asked if you could just edit the original design, you changed it completely.
If you didnt knew what i actually wanted before payment you couldve asked but you didnt you started after payment right away and didnt ask anything. I actually run a legit business and I know how annoying clients can be and how i talked to you wasnt annoying. You acted like you knew what I wanted so how is it my fault that when you finished work i didnt like your style?
Besides the fact that i was away for a day and you went agressive on me to finish the deal was unprofessional. Like I said if I liked the graphics, I couldve hired you as our designer for new projects.

It's actually the customer's job to tell the designer what he needs before he start the order without the desginer asking
Bleh

I personally don't like the designs too much. But that doesn't matter. OP wasn't paying top dollar for high quality work, you get what you pay for.
@OP Stop being an asshole, if you want something high quality then why don't you offer a little more than only $20?

Paying $20 for several hours of work. What a loss it is for him.

I know right, I wouldn't have even spent an hour of time on it.

Because he offered me a design for 45$, we spent around 150€ for other designer and wanted more options so we could choose. If someone offers you a design for 45, noone would say no. Costs need to be low to make profit.
And aint being a asshole, he makes me look like an asshole since I just gave my opinion. The reason why I asked for a refund was, because I saw right away the style he uses is not the style we want for our product, from my point that is reasonable.

Not really several hours because it was 30 to 45 min in between. Also not really taking it as a loss, more like a learning experience of not switching between designers because every designer has a different style.

He didnt, it was under 45 min even less.
