Contract #410644 Dispute has been Resolved

I bought 12 months of Adobe from Moe in April.
Had several access issues in May, needed manual intervention from him in June; by September had no working access and learned it had already been down for months prior. I don’t use Adobe much, but when I needed it, I liked having it and I kept having to chase him to get it working.

When Adobe stopped working entirely, he offered a $20 refund or $30 store credit from my original $35 Adobe payment, saying he was deducting his $15 supplier cost from the refund. I accepted Spotify Duo, to give to a friend for free, using the credit and specifically asked about restrictions before agreeing. He said he’d change the account’s region and nothing should change with music availability. He priced Spotify Duo for 12 months at $50, so with the $30 credit I would owe another $20. Only after I agreed and he’d started setting it up did he tell me the "12 months" required coordinating with him and my friend every 3 months to renew it. I immediately explained that avoiding that hassle was why I wanted a year. When I complained about the renewal requirement, he waived the extra $20 he’d asked me to pay. I thanked him and went ahead with it despite the renewal hassle.

My friend never got it working. I sent him screenshots of the blocks due to being in a different region. He promised to check, then went over two weeks without responding despite follow-ups. When he finally replied, he said she needed a VPN and pointed back to an announcement he’d forwarded into our chat on September 8, before I asked about restrictions, saying "we also recommend a VPN to not get a revoke". That is not the same as clearly telling me it was required when I directly asked about restrictions.

I wasn’t blaming him for Adobe or Spotify changing policies but he kept going on this irrelevant tangent about how great he is and his reputation and other crap nobody asked about. I was complaining about unreliable access, conditions disclosed after I’d agreed, and repeatedly chasing support. He initially offered another replacement using store credit or a reduced refund of about $15, saying he’d now paid for two services. I objected because my friend had never been able to use the Spotify replacement. He eventually agreed to refund $20. I received $18 after fees, with the remaining $2 offered separately through another crypto. When I explained why the experience had been frustrating, his responses included "No way you typed all that," "Please stop bugging out," and calling me a "negative mofo" (which to his point yeah I was negative with my very last message.. sue me). After my post on his thread, he changed his rep to a -rep. Lol.

TL;DR: Paid for 12 months of Adobe, repeatedly lost access until I permanently lost access, accepted store credit toward Spotify for a friend after Adobe stopped working entirely. I specifically asked about restrictions, was told there were none, but only learned about the three-month renewals (restriction 1; not one year) after setup had started. I accepted that hassle after he waived the extra $20; I was still not clearly told a VPN (another restriction) was required. My friend never got it working, and his promised follow-up took over two weeks. Eventually received $18 of an agreed $20 refund. His supplier cost wasn’t the refund calculation in our contract - unused time was. And accepting a replacement doesn’t erase what he represented that replacement to be.

The contract terms were: “1 year of Adobe Creative Cloud upgrade on my account + warranty. Refund for unused time if removed and no replacement available.”

I am going to post this here so people understand, I changed my +rep because this user cursed me in Arabic. Not "swearing or flaming", he literally did a "curse" (as in Arabic we have words for black magic nonsense), I don't care that he did it but the fact that he said it over $2 was wild for me.

Also because he is only posting text and not screenshots, I can easily show that this user is tripping.

He had $20 refund from $35, got a $55 product without paying difference, still was given a $20 refund after received 2 products, so the original contract was fulfilled (if no service he would get refund minus time used), which he did + extra spotify service that is working for everyone but his friend who doesn't know how to use a vpn.

In the end, my opinion the user got his refund (which is what the contract stated has to happen), he got the service until it went down, and he got an extra spotify service that he claims he can't use. Screenshots from my side below...since he did all of this over $2 not $20 , which I offered to give but he declined and chose to rant / attack me. Always two sides to a story...and his side is trash.

But yeah it is not my fault his friend doesn't know how to use a vpn, that was for the second service that he chose, and that he also got for $35 off. So to even still complain after receiving the original $20 refund + 2 services and curse me was unnecessary. User was a customer of mine for 2+ years, but as soon as a service had an issue he switched up. You can see he was talking about the flawless service and that it was working in past great. But he renewed his 3rd year but the service dropped in July, I gave refunds to everyone. This user got his refund, he is just trying to bash because he didn't get $2....which I offered for him before his words.

I’m not claiming you refused to pay that $2. I also acknowledge my last Arabic remark was hostile.
Neither point explains away the service complaints I raised before the refund.

The contract said: "1 year of Adobe Creative Cloud upgrade on my account + warranty. Refund for unused time if removed and no replacement available."
When you offered $20, your explanation was that you were deducting your $15 supplier cost, not calculating unused time.
That distinction is documented in our chat.

Spotify was an agreed replacement using my Adobe credit, not an unrelated free gift.
You priced it at $50 (not $55 as you mention in your post) , applied $30 credit, and initially asked for another $20. You waived that difference after explaining, during setup, that the year required renewals every three months.

But before proceeding, I had specifically asked: "Does it come with any restrictions or limitations?"
You didn’t tell me a VPN would be required to use it. The forwarded announcement said you recommended a VPN “to not get a revoke.” My friend’s ability to operate a VPN doesn’t answer why that requirement wasn’t clearly explained when I asked. It also never worked.

When I reported the problem, you said on September 18 that you would check and respond later that day. Your next response was October 5, despite multiple follow-ups. These complaints existed well before the $2 refund difference.

Yes, I accepted the eventual partial refund. Readers can take that into account. But describing this as me receiving “two products” and then attacking you over $2 leaves out the failed Adobe access, the replacement we never got working, and the weeks spent chasing non-existent support.

Edit: Lol. I also just saw by the time it confirmed it was even less:

If you want the remainder of your $2 you can send your address. Your obliged to $20 from $35 and that is what you got. You got an extra service and gifts before, the fact you made this whole thread over a negative reputation because you cursed me is childish.

You are the one attacking me, I have offered the refund, swap, and then refunded.

Also this is the last time I am explaining this to you, the upgrade works but you must turn on a VPN (for the "extra service") that you do not deserve! Since you already got your $20 refund! Which means you are missing $2, you should not care for the extra service...As far as the Adobe, I updated on Hackforums + telegram, and sent you instantly when you contacted and offered refund. You are the one WHO CHOSE to swap without knowing anything about the service you buying (spotify), then you asked for a refund, which at this point should be waived...since I waived $35 you had to pay for Spotify...but guess what I refunded the $20 but it missed $2 and you cursed.

So yes I still keep offering your $2 after you lost myself money, as that is what a businessman does. But you are an attacking man child.

Also he keeps saying the replacement service does not work, so how do all my other customers have Spotify working?

I genuinely don’t know if there’s a language barrier or if you're just intentionally missing the point and using it as a point to complement your own delusional generosity.

If you owe me money and I accept a car instead, after I specifically ask about its limitations, you don’t get to hand me a car that doesn't f*cking work under the conditions you described and then count that as an "extra gift" and "extra services".

Since I have to keep repeating myself:

OUR CONTRACT DOES NOT MENTION A “SUPPLIER FEES” DEDUCTED FROM MY WARRANTY/REFUND. THAT IS NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY.

EVEN WHEN I ASKED SPECIFICALLY, YOU NEVER MENTIONED A VPN WAS REQUIRED TO USE SPOTIFY.

SPOTIFY NEVER WORKED FOR HER.

EVEN IF WE'RE BUYING THE BULLSHIT:

YOU ONLY “PROVIDED” AN UPGRADE FOR 3 MONTHS. YOU LIED ABOUT IT BEING A YEAR.

SHE STILL DOES NOT HAVE SPOTIFY.

EVEN IF YOU CLAIM SPOTIFY COSTED YOU MONEY: YOU ONLY "PROVIDED" 1/4 OF THE PROMISED AMOUNT.

My proposed resolution:
Refund me the remaining $9 and cover the "fees" (we can include the $18 you sent me) for a total of $27 for unused months, roughly ~$3 per month as per our initial agreement/contract on HF.

I think you are the one who doesn't understand, your original contract states if the Adobe service goes down you will get only a refund minus the time used of the subscription correct? You were given that choice of the refund, you chose to swap for store credit & get Spotify. That means contract voided, done, you already chose something and it was given. You did not like that because it did not work for you right? VPN was too much for you to handle, I IGNORED the swap and gave you back the refund option, which was fulfilled missing $2. Which you chose to not accept.

Also btw I did not take the $2, the network fees were $2 and I told him give me USDT BEP 20 or LTC addy I will send full amount, bro cried.

Also a much easier handling of this dispute since you think you are entitled more than $2. Ask an admin for a review, as I am not going back and forth with you.

I am not sending you an extra $7 when you made me waste buying a working spotify sub, and you are owed $2. If the admins say to give you $7 you can have it, as this is no problem for me to do. I have the money, but you are not a good customer. So fight for it, didn't you curse me in Arabic about this $2? We will see if they think you deserve $7

$18 + $9 = grand total of $27 for 9 months of Adobe not provided, as per our contract.
I'm not trying to be a "good customer" you should try to be a good seller who doesn't lie to get customers to agree and then claim "recommended" = "required" and "1 year Spotify" = "3 months Spotify" and make them responsible for your "supplier" cost that wasn't even a part of the original agreement. At what point can we blatantly just call it a scam?

Either way, I highly encourage those to read my original post. These last few responses are just petty tbh and I'm getting too old for this shit.

Considering I handled about $4,000 in refunds which not many can say and if you think I will cry about $7 I will not. My whole point is your contract does not count because you already chose to SWAP , and got waived $35, but when you didn't like that service, I still chose to refund you $20. You can't keep changing the service and want the same TOS. Spotify is working and did not need to be refunded and I paid for it, you literally just refusing to use it over a VPN and because it isn't billed yearly but every 3 months. So I sent you the $20 and you saw in the message you agreed to it, you are the one who is being petty because the network fees took $2.

So again, I will leave it up to staff.

Man, its like I'm reading a Trump tweet ffs. Yes. Believe me, I know refunds. Nobody knows refunds better than I do. I handled $4,000 in refunds, tremendous numbers. Numbers you've never seen. The best refunder. So many numbers. Spotify works, folks. You just don't like the terms. And now you’re crying over $2 in fees? Sad! Its such a great deal actually.

i started reading this in trump's voice when you mentioned him😭

All this over pocket change, wild.
Let’s be clear about a few things.

Adobe Creative Cloud: There is no longer a cheap regional pricing loophole that makes legitimate 12-month Adobe subscriptions available at prices like $35. At that price, it's highly unlikely to be a normal, legitimately purchased annual subscription. In my opinion, 99% of these cheap Adobe upgrades are unreliable garbage that can stop working at any time.

Spotify: Spotify has also started tightening regional restrictions, particularly affecting Egyptian subscriptions used outside Egypt. Users can lose access or face restrictions if their actual location doesn't match the subscription region. These cheap regional Spotify subscriptions are essentially a gray-market method, not a stable official solution.

Personally, I wouldn't offer any long-term warranty on regionally priced Spotify subscriptions.

Everyone involved in this market should understand that using cheaper regional pricing comes with a significant risk of losing access at any time. Spotify can enforce regional restrictions, and subscriptions may be cancelled if the account is being used outside its intended region.

These are gray-market methods, not guaranteed long-term solutions. In this particular case, I don't think the seller is responsible for Spotify changing or enforcing its regional restrictions. That's a known risk when buying subscriptions through cheaper regions.

Thank you guys for providing him an understanding of the market, I tried to explain this and provide a solution & even when he refused the workaround, I had no problems providing the refund, he is just trying to ruin my image because the network fees took $2. If this is over his calculated time, again this would have been okay in the original contract. Which he voided and chose to swap to Spotify and didn't pay the $30-35 difference, which means he got ANOTHER deal. He got the $20 refund after he refused to use a VPN. Which by the way, again I provide all my customers a free VPN if they have geo-lock issues. He doesn't understand how regional products work, I am on a few markets away from forums and hundreds of thousands of customers all understand some services need vpn others work completely fine without.

Anyway whatever must be done, I will do. But only what Staff chooses, thank you for your time.

YOUR REPLACEMENT WAS NOT AS YOU DESCRIBED IT.

YOU ONLY “PROVIDED” AN UPGRADE FOR 3 MONTHS. YOU LIED ABOUT IT BEING A YEAR.

SHE NEVER HAD, AND STILL DOES NOT HAVE SPOTIFY. THE UPGRADE DID NOT WORK.

YOU ONLY "PROVIDED" 1/4 OF THE PROMISED AMOUNT.

THE DISPUTE IS NOT OVER $2.

Obligatory reminder:
Your fees and how much it costs you to get products are not my responsibility. That's your risk, and your cost of doing business. That's what determines what's profitable/not profitable enough to sell.

The original contract you chose to ignore for a Spotify swap, because you wanted store credit. Do you not understand you already accepted store credit? Which you then used with a discount for Spotify. I explained spotify is renewed as 3 months, and you clearly when you went to my website saw that spotify and youtube are sold as 3 months. There is no prepaid annual option for spotify, so we renew it every 3 months. This was not an issue, your issue was you don't want to use a VPN to access the spotify, why do you keep changing what your issue is?

The disputed amount is $2 based on that I don't owe you a refund if you already accepted store credit and made another purchase (ignoring the first contract). The only reason I am even arguing back and forth and doing all this isn't over the $2, but the principle of you cursing me over a small amount of money.

Anyway I have no issues if you get $2 or $9 back, but the staff can review your case. As in my opinion, I did nothing wrong but provide what you chose and even when you still did not like that, went back and gave you a $20 refund (nothing to do with the original contract at this point).
