Well growing up in my hood in the 80's, we had more outdoor games unlike kids now that are having more indoor games.
The experience then was so solid, make friends.
I was exposed to football as a young kid.
Sometimes looking back i still wonder why i didnt take football as a career, i was damn good at it growing up.
Although in-as-much i wouldn't like to blame my parent, i think they contributed to it too.
Delta Force 2, the first Spiderman, Def Jam
Bunch of pirated SEGA Genesis games like Alladin, Street Fighter 2, Castlevania, Gunstar, Sonic etc.
The Nintendo Game Boy was fun I played it a lot when I was a kid.
Super Mario Bros probably the very first game, but there are tons of other games on Atari i used to play such as kangaroo, pac-man, Missile Commander, Joust and many many more awesome games i forgot to mention.
I used to play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time a shit ton as a kid. I've completed the entire game at least 25 times and I will never forget the amazing nights spent playing my Nintendo 64 without a worry in the world. Zelda is the most common thing I'll associate with nostalgia because every time I think of it, it hits me right in the soft spot of my heart and to be completely honest, there is nothing I wouldn't give up just to go back in time and relive my childhood :') Ahhh... the sounds of Link swinging his sword going "HUHH" and "HAUGHH" echo through my mind. Good days... good days..
Oh and one of my favorite games I just remember - Jazzy JackRabbit.
Mario Kart Wii and Minecraft <3 <3
