U.S. authorities have recorded at least 14 deaths as a result of Hurricane Milton, in addition to causing massive damage to facilities and homes and the cancellation of thousands of flights in the state of Florida. Local media, including The Washington Post and NBC, reported that the number of deaths announced by the authorities due to the hurricane had reached 14, including six fatalities in St. Lucie County on the state's Atlantic coast. The hurricane also destroyed the roofs of facilities and buildings, such as a baseball stadium, and caused a large construction crane to collide with a massive building in St. Petersburg, in addition to destroying homes and flooding roads across wide areas of Florida. Around 3 million people are left without electricity in the state, according to the American newspaper.

I have a lot of family in Florida, they're thankfully in an area that when the hurricane hits, it will have slowed down to a #2. Florida people are used to hurricanes unfortunately, they get them every year! Hope everyone remains safe who is out there.

I'm scared because I have NEVER had anything happen like the stuff that happened where I live in 2023 and most of my life I have lived in this city and I never saw massive floods here and Cyclone/Hurricane damage, but a massive tree branch fell on my roof, and I had my study half flooded. And it's my own place. But it's all fixed now.
