Hey, great tut!
I'd just like to interject on one point, however. What you're referring to as Linux, is, in fact, GNU/Linux. Linux is not an operating system, it's just the kernel used in the GNU/Linux operating system. The Linux kernel is used in other operating systems, such as Android OS. So it's important to distinguish GNU/Linux from Linux. GNU stands for GNU's not Unix, a recursive acronym. The GNU project was started in 1985 by Richard Stallman. I mean, you even used the same math puzzle image haha. (May 12, 2011 07:18 PM)Eminent Wrote: I actually hate redbulls. At the part where you said about the levels of the hacker. You should add to the script-kiddies section that they never make any tutorials (and if they did it would most likely be a bad tutorial or it's leeched without giving credit). They just make an account at forums like here to just download hack tools and that's it. Also, for Intermediate Hackers and Elite Hackers, they usually code their programs with VB6 and/or C++. Lastly, where you said about Intermediate hackers also are good at hacking websites using exploits coded from Elite Hackers, there are Intermediate Hackers out there who would prefer hacking a victims computer to mess around with rather than hacking a website (defacing). But, overall it's a good guide.👍
the hacker manifesto's words was the exact thought process that made me want to become a hacker, which wasnt all too long ago.
the only thing i dont agree with the manifesto about is the whole apathetic process. i am apathetic, but only with things that dont matter to me, I.E., im apathetic in school because it doesnt matter to me, i have better things to do, and my knowledge of things surpasses what school can teach me (im not saying i know more than my teachers, but what i have learned makes school now obsolete.) but the whole governmental system and the manifestos look on it, i wholeheartedly agree with, and is why i am already a black-hat. and believe me, all my hacking knowledge will be put to the same use, gaining profit and infamy through black-hat trickery, gaining more knowledge as i hack, and evolving into the greatest hacker i could ever possibly be, all while covering my tracks with the stealth of a rogue. which is why my alias is N4R4ZUM0N0. |
