I seem to think so.
My theory is people who still use vb are fairly oldschool. oldschool programmers are usually all about the open source and sharing. nowadays so many kids copy and paste codes, modify a few lines, and keep it to themselves or use fileic3. can't coment on ASM but i would assume it actually would stay fud longer as less people are capable of programming it, and the people that can are usually smart enough to prevent to prevent it from being detected too early.
