With the help of a few friends, Decay Public v2.0 is finally fixed and completed! I'm currently looking for beta testers to test functionality of all the features across different Windows versions (the more the merrier!). I'm also in need of a new logo, as I'm unsatisfied with my current one. With that being said, if you can do either of those jobs (graphics or beta test), please PM me, and be sure to include your past experience.
The reason I made this thread was to answer a few of my questions for the Hackforums community. Below are all of my questions, so feel free to post your feedback on any of them, as I want to hear from you! I'm developing for you guys, and obviously I'm going to try to release what you want to see!
- As a free product, Decay will be detected, there's not a LOT I'm willing to do about it. Luckily though, I have several backups of the source, so I won't be losing it this time. I'll do my best to keep it low on the detections, but how important is this to you guys? Is it worth my time? Feedback please!
- Sadly, I do not condone leechers or the use of my software to simply upload to virus total, so there will be both protection on the download, as well as a survey from FileIce (most likely) to give me both some income and reward for my work, and to protect the file and hopefully keep it undetected for longer. Opinions?
- Should I offer direct links for a small fee? ($1) to help generate some extra income and pay for my hosting?
- Would you download FUD updates (or lower detection updates) from a survey site (FileIce)?

Can you list your experience with keyloggers, malware, and the windows os versions you can test on?

Feedback: When you are doing something do the best. Man if your little more doing can make it FUD then i suggest to do it. But keeping detectiong for its a free product is not a sincere thinking.

Feedback: Obviously you deserve some rewards for working so long hard for this product. But as you mentioned if income is not the main terget then i suggest you to keep a encrypted password or link for the product. As Its called a free product.

Feedback: About survey sites, some country peoples are not able to complete surveys and get any product from survey sites. I think you will reconsider this fact in generally.
I liked the previous version too. The new one will be better i wish. Thumbs up man. You are coool.
try to encrypt the file (rar) with xor or other encryption and encrypt the pw too, you get double encryption, if you want to encrypt the rar file and not the pw only i'm here and i ensure you a little members can decrypt this double encryption so i can help you to encrypt the rar file and i provide you the tool to encrypt the rar file if you want..
does this work for anyone??? i would really like to know how you get people to download these :p
It's not released yet. I'm working with my small handful of beta testers to fix up all the screw ups and optimize code as well as implement even more features.

Expirence:
Keyloggers: used many public ones like,( https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=1382687) and tested all its features with different features:)
Malware: Rats (ratting people with methods like java drive by) used a public worm (another forum)
Windows Versions: xp, vista, windows 7:)
Please don't use survey i can't complete it even use vpn.Use rar password protected will be good..

1. As long as there is no problem crypting it that would be fine.
2. What you could do would be so that once the builder is run on the users computer, virus total and other sharing sites are blocked. People may not like it that much but it will save your crypter and just give people a heads up.
3. Yeah that sounds fair.
4. Problem with a free program is the shit FUD time no matter what, so probably not. But I might if you blocked the scanning sites and linked to the foolish downloads with an encrypted string so you have a triple leecher block, but to somebody that knows what they're doing and is dedicated it's not much of a setback.
