With the help of a few friends, Decay Public v2.0 is finally fixed and completed! I'm currently looking for beta testers to test functionality of all the features across different Windows versions (the more the merrier!). I'm also in need of a new logo, as I'm unsatisfied with my current one. With that being said, if you can do either of those jobs (graphics or beta test), please PM me, and be sure to include your past experience.

The reason I made this thread was to answer a few of my questions for the Hackforums community. Below are all of my questions, so feel free to post your feedback on any of them, as I want to hear from you! I'm developing for you guys, and obviously I'm going to try to release what you want to see!

1. As a free product, Decay will be detected, there's not a LOT I'm willing to do about it. Luckily though, I have several backups of the source, so I won't be losing it this time. I'll do my best to keep it low on the detections, but how important is this to you guys? Is it worth my time? Feedback please!
   


2. Sadly, I do not condone leechers or the use of my software to simply upload to virus total, so there will be both protection on the download, as well as a survey from FileIce (most likely) to give me both some income and reward for my work, and to protect the file and hopefully keep it undetected for longer. Opinions?
   


3. Should I offer direct links for a small fee? ($1) to help generate some extra income and pay for my hosting?
   


4. Would you download FUD updates (or lower detection updates) from a survey site (FileIce)?

I'll do my best to keep it low on the detections, but how important is this to you guys? Is it worth my time? Just try make sure it stays compatible with most of the crypters used by the user base. Try lower the detection rate, but don't waste too much time on this.

Uploading the file to Foolish is not a problem though you must keep in mind that to be a better keylogger you must offer a better service than any others (For example you could offer direct links to ub3rs only or something (its up to you where you go with this)). Also don't understand what you're trying to say with the file protection.

1. If it's compatible with most crypters, I see no problem with it not being FUD. As long as it's mostly UD, it's OK.
2. My opinion? This fucking sucks. F!leice and shitcash are both not working for me, meaning I couldn't use the logger when it comes out. Also, I'm against surveywhoring. If you don't want the logger to be leeched, just encrypt the download link, and the .rar file. And only give it out on HF/Trusted sites.
3. No. You should let people donate to you. -> Make an optional donate button.

Keylogger sounds nice but to be honest I think if you made surveys compulsory I don't think you would get that many downloads as for a lot of people they don't work. Plus there is still quite a few keyloggers around that have no survey or adfly links eg. project neptune, sys logger etc.

Feedback: When you are doing something do the best. Man if your little more doing can make it FUD then i suggest to do it. But keeping detectiong for its a free product is not a sincere thinking.

Feedback: Obviously you deserve some rewards for working so long hard for this product. But as you mentioned if income is not the main terget then i suggest you to keep a encrypted password or link for the product. As Its called a free product.

Feedback: About survey sites, some country peoples are not able to complete surveys and get any product from survey sites. I think you will reconsider this fact in generally.

try to encrypt the file (rar) with xor or other encryption and encrypt the pw too, you get double encryption, if you want to encrypt the rar file and not the pw only i'm here and i ensure you a little members can decrypt this double encryption so i can help you to encrypt the rar file and i provide you the tool to encrypt the rar file if you want..

These are the ways to keep a public tool FUD for a long time:
1) Encrypt the RAR password a several times
2) Use multiple surveys so in survey one is a link to survey two
3) Private stubs

It's not released yet. I'm working with my small handful of beta testers to fix up all the screw ups and optimize code as well as implement even more features.
