So when I see a million new people who ask for Twitter Hacking, and Hotmail Cracking, I just want to be able to hold the words on my Copy and Paste and be able to post "Use the search function above, And find a service, and add a bit more detail to what you need"
or, "You posted this in the wrong section, I'd advice PMing a moderator for the section to move it for you."
Or, "To help you get started, Please Visit the Help Docs [hyperlink it]"
And it goes onn and onn, (and onn, [song])
The way it would work is,
You have a panel in your User CP,
Preview!
It would;
Require ub3r
Require 35 characters
Allow only 10 macros
+ more..
I find this useful.
Goodbye!
If you don't like it, Tell me why, and what you'd change.
If you like it,
The way it would be used, Is if you have a macro for "Read the Help Docs etc....", You'd go on the thread, and easily type; $helpdocs, and it would show up. But you'd customly write the macro.

You obviously don't get it.
I would say re read it.
But, In short terms,
You have a mini-panel, You enter, $example=This is my example!
Now its saved, 10 maximum you'd have these.
Now you can go on a thread and type $example, and it would post "This is my example!", This would be useful for directing new users to Help Docs and etc.. Like I said, on this:
PHP Code

I guess it could be useful. You can just post the canned speech in your personal notepad and go back to it when you want to reply to a thread that applies to that speech you wrote.
Then fucking make the usercp load faster!
It's like my sister running the mile!

I'm sure that if he blocks sharecash and fileice, he should block off those stupid words. And it would require 35 characters,
All macros that ub3r's use can be viewed by a Moderator, they are able to terminate the feature as temp or perm. if it is abused? :D

Nice suggestion nonetheless.
I'd honestly use it, I've seen alot of new members post ugly shit which I want to tell them where to read the rules, what to do.. and it'd be easier using a $macro!

Thank you for reading my mind.
(jk), That really isn't the point, It's to have simple keywords like $hfdocs, $newmem, $howto, etc... and write what you want so you won't have to repeat it ever again, and just type the phrase.

This is a bad idea for assh*les who just want to start flame wars everywhere. I've read the part where a user must have to be like this and that to get this function, but there are just upgraded members who abuse such rights.
Bottom line, I neither agree or disagree.
Good luck with your suggestion OP.
I fully get it, As I said, termination for abusers.
And words will be blocked, Such as those stupid hypebeast terms.
And I need this, I like to help.

If this would be approved, I guess it will be implemented AFTER all earlier priorities is done, since I believe Omni is still working on the new deal dispute database, the vouch system, and a few more surprises.
I guess so, but if it is going to come in a year or tomorrow, it will benefit either way (for me) and I will be able and not mind waiting. :)
For a forum this large, it would require a ton of resources.
It's a good idea, but would be better implemented on a smaller forum.
To be honest, 'Please read the Help Docs' is not a HQ post. Why? It doesn't direct OP to specific solution. Those who really want to help should either type out the proper answer, or direct the OP at specific part of Help Docs where that is stated.
Same goes with search function. I consider members that post 'Use the search bar' in every thread spammers. OP chose not to use the search bar, and if you want to help, post proper, full, and correct answer. Posting "Use the search bar" is for those who just want to increase their post count.
This feature is not needed, for it would provoke spam.

I was giving an example as of that, Maybe it would be more detailed, and members would be able to make;
$search=Please use the search bar next time please! This has been reposted many times.
Then be able to write "$search, <put link here(search it for them)>"
Canned answers are too often used already. I cringe every time I see someone use the Help Docs one sometimes without answering an additional point the OP made. It would probably be too spammy & some of the idiots on here would abuse it.
If you REALLY want to post the same thing over and over again, just get Autohotkey, no reason to add this just so it's easier to get your post count up posting the same thing as probably 100 members already have in a thread.
There is too many post-whores already. This is bound to attract more.
