that should do the trick.. but u can also buy a cheappy $10 laser from walmart, make sures it a green laser and use a magnifi glass..

$40 for a 5 mW laser, what a waste of money lol.

OP - I'd say you need around 150-200mW to burn things effectively. I don't get why you would dish out $200-300 just to burn things when you could use a match.

People here really lack in basic laser knowledge. 😑

If you want a cheap but nice working burning laser around 200mw I recommend buying this
