HackForums userscript - Code box select all [1.1.4]

Ehm, there's already a mod for MyBB that you can easily implement for this...
No just that font tags are shitty when you aren't even using them for fonts. Using p or div or other type of container for just color would actually be the proper way. I prefer <text style="color:#??;">Sum Text</text> myself.
The font tag is obsolete. While it still works then it's highly encouraged to not be used.

No, actually you're wrong. You shouldn't use the font tag. You shouldn't use inline styles either, but I'm guessing a userscript doesn't allow external resources (I've never used one.)

I do not care for non-standardized, non-widespread languages, that target a select few.

Can nobody research anything on their own these days? 🤦‍♂

You probably also support the usage of system in c++. 🤫

Errm what? Why use an old standard? You are saying you should use older software because it's been around longer? The font tag is depreciated. That means that it is no longer supported so eventually browsers will drop support for it.

Using something that's not as good for no reason other than 'herp its old so its cool' is fucking stupid. The font tag is inferior to using a class. You may not give a shit about semantics and code reusability, but you should and most of the development community does. Good luck getting a job using inline styling.
Moral of the story: put everything in div tags, use stylesheets, and don't give a single fuck.

Beta is now considered "standard and stable."
Because beta is out: The standard alpha-male for 13 years is immediately obsolete.

No.

I will choose to stick with standard, widely accepted, and above all else: Stable features.

You sound like the type of person that would use a 64-bit OS with 1GB of RAM in 2004.
No real software support. Bugs all fucking over the place. No benefits. But, do it, "Just because."

Good luck getting a job with such a piss poor attitude towards code usability, stability, and a good end product.

Oh please. You're saying HTML5 is instable? This argument is down right stupid. Give me a single reason to use the font tag over an external style sheet (or even god forbid inline styling)?

One single reason. You're probably going to come back with some bullshit about being 'more stable.' That's completely WRONG. Stylesheets and inline styling were in HTML4 too. That means they are no less 'buggy' or and no more 'stable.' Can you point out any bugs in external stylesheets? Any instabilities with using them? If they are so unstable, how is the majority of the web using them?

No benefits?

Underlining text? Aligning text? Indenting? Transform? Letter spacing? Line spacing? Web fonts?

You may be content with piss poor web typography but the majority of web designers aren't.

'Good luck getting a job.' HAHAHA REALLY? REALLY?!?! A) I have a job as a senior web developer (at 18 :)) and B) Font tags aren't widely accepted. Go to a web design interview and use a font tag in an example project. You will be laughed out the door.

You seem to throw words like 'unstable' and 'buggy' around freely, yet you haven't seemed to point out a single bug nor flaw in using external stylesheets.

Thanks for the good laugh.

You ignored every point I made and used some shitty '>implying' 9gag thing to make an extremely hollow point.

What?

Quote:> Implying font tags aren't widely accepted

HAHAHAHAHA. Find me one big site that uses them. (Right click > View source if you didn't know.) Go on. I dare you. Google? Github? Twitter? Facebook? Imgur? Flickr? Youtube? Reddit?

If they are so 'widely accepted' how comes none of the biggest sites on the internet actually use them?

If web development is so easy, why are you still using depreciated code and not taking the time to learn CSS? 🤣 CSS should be a walk in the park for you bro... Why do you suck so hard at it?

You're an amateur C++ programmer who makes tiny little scripts for fun. I'm a qualified engineer with a technical university degree in advanced artificial intelligence and neuropsychoanalysis. So, I know what I'm talking about most of the time.

I wouldn't bother bro. He says that web development is easy, while still using techniques that looked old in the 90s haha.
Not bad i guess i dont really do this programing but its okay i guess.
