Custom Build

Custom Computer Build. £1200 Value {Build Log}

Hey Guys,

This is going to be a thread dedicated to me buying all the components for my new Gaming PC which is going to cost around £1200.

This thread will be kept up to date with all the parts as they are delivered as well as me creating the actual computer its self.

I'm going to need alot of help i reckon building this machine as i have a feeling YouTube videos alone wont suffice :)

Day 1:
AsRock Z77 Extreme4 Motherboard; Just arrived in the mail below.
Looks promising. box is very aesthetically pleasing :)

Thanks man!

My only real concern is getting the MOBO into the case, installing the water cooling and formatting the hard drives and the sata drives to work :/
What is so special about your build? Do you think that building a computer is an amazing feat and we are all extremely interested?

And why would you order one part at a time...that is pretty stupid.

What if the motherboard that you just bought doesnt work? You wont know until after u make the build... Which might be well after the warranty...

i ordered all the parts together. There just coming in multiple orders from amazon.
What wrong with 4+1 power phases? Many people can get 5Ghz OC with ease on that motherboard.
Doesn't the Extreme4 Z77 have a 8+4 power phase, unless I am mistaken or missing something here?

The motherboard does have an 8+4 power phase I just checked the manual to clear the confusion up ;)
