Just watched ep 6. Kirino still pisses me off, but its worth it for the brief moments of her not being an asshole ^_^

Omg no. Oreimo is my guilty pleasure because it is incest and it is just wrong but I can't stop watching it.

I really don't see it as incest at all.

Ok so episode 6 ended off with a whaatt? moment and then Kyousuke being the nice guy he is says "Let me think about it"

So then he gets indirect advice from the other 2 girls in his life to think things through. Then he goes and says yes? What are you doing? Episode 6 was about Kirino getting him to feel what it is like for her being jealous when hes with Kuroneko and Manami, then what does he go and do? Let's actually date Kuroneko so she suffers even more than I did! Yayy!

So basically I was just so pissed because he was just saying how much he cared about his sister and doesnt want her to be with other guys and then he just becomes the most asshole hypocrite he could, like come on man. Put yourself in her shoes.

Spoiler (Click to View)No that is not the case, the episode wasn't about petty "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and a son for a son" bullshit. The previous account of Kirino doing that was to feel her big brothers love, however you are insinuating that it was something at a greater plot to put her brother into a relationship with her, I think, which in turn was blown backwards with Kirinos and Grandmas advice. The whole of it was, Kirino notices Kuronekos feelings and didn't know a when or where but knew a that it was there, in which she who cares for her friend, gave him the advice to think it through, if it actually happened in the near future. Him saying yes to Kuroneko was not some dumb ploy to piss of his sister, however I will admit the whole plot pissed me off when he uttered "When is it ok for me to touch her breasts", I mean fucking seriously... Am I the only guy on this planet who doesn't think about sex first...

Now I will admit, he is a hypocritical asshat, however with females and males it is different, which in itself if hypocrisy. What he did there was not say "Kirino can't have boyfriend" all he said was "IF YOU WANT A BOYFRIEND HE HAS TO LOVE YOU MORE THAN I DO", However later he did say he would cry if she was taken away by some other guy, but that was said, in my beliefs, as a brother and not as anything more (at that point).

Now I do feel bad for Kirino, but I feel happy for Kuroneko and I feel you just overlooked this progression, Kuroneko a girl from a hard life with no friends and a passion that opens up her shell and turns into a beautiful butterfly that is able soar high and enjoy life with friends and has now taken a lover. You omit all of this as, bullshit revenge, and I personally finds the way your putting this repulsive.

You should quit watching this now, reevaluate what you like about anime, and then make an informed decision before restarting. This series is above your current level, just like you don't fight a level 69 at level 21 in any game.

Now onto to something else, who here is waiting episodes 4 rival to make a return appearance in some fun way? I honestly am expecting it next episode or one after and we get to see a cute jealousy scene with Kuroneko and the "Lolicon+Siscon Brother" :). ♥

I've had to re-watch episodes 6-8 because I've been really unsettled on this.

Spoiler (Click to View) I can't really make up my mind on what I'm hoping for moving forward.

The way it seems to be going now, I almost want to foresee some type of development where it turns out that Kyousuke and Kirino aren't actually related and they end up together. I mean it would make some sense since Kirino seems different from Kyousuke and her family in general (mainly in appearance); except for the scene when they were children, Kirino has a similar hair color to the mother's. So I guess it could play out into something like that.. and maybe this is could be why their father is also so fond of her?

Anyway.. I like Kuroneko, but I feel like the relationship really wasn't meant to last from the start, so I haven't embraced it too much. She also seems to have a very clear insight on things between Kyou and Kirino. I'm interested how that will continue.

I also wonder how things will develop further with Manami, how Ayase will play a role, etc, etc. At first I was hoping Kyou and Manami would end up together.. but now I think I just feel bad for her more than anything because of how dense Kyou is. I'm not entirely sure what to think about Ayase either, other than that she might have some feels for Kirino. She is still one of my favorites for sure.

Overall, I'm undecided on what I want to hope for. But I think deep down I really like Kirino and I'm not sure why. Oh well, it is what it is.

Good point. I thought about that, but then I decided it kind of takes away from the excitement of waiting and speculating about what happens. I usually like to know things right away so I will read, but this time I'd rather be in the dark for some reason :)
