What Kind Of Hacker Are You?

(Apr 28, 2013 04:39 AM)Sʜᴀᴅᴏᴡ Rᴇᴀʟᴍ Wrote:  I do spose I could say a L33t Hacker???

Correction* L33t H4x0r ;)

On topic: I guess Black hat 👍
Well, I don't hack for no reason.. I only hack man and deface sites to get P's in.

Guess that makes me a Black/Grey hat. 🤝
I despise the term "Hacker" and look down upon anyone who is using it to describe themselves.
I would say I am a Skidhat, later i will be a whitehat. (Just for dem Kidz)

If the skid type was included in the list you'd know what I'd call you.
I'm probably in the middle of Gray and Black hat.
I'm a grey hat, if somebody violates me; I'm probably going to try and do harm to their site, but if its a random site and it has an exploit I'd just report it to the owner to patch it up.

Hope to see many white hats here.
I like to call myself a Greyhat, because it makes me think twice about my actions before executing them.
I'd prefer myself to be classified as a Greyhat as I do both whitehat and blackhat activities.

Although from time to time I engage in legitimate blackhat activity, I also aid others removing infections. As well as that, I consider myself to be an elite social engineer, and occasionally a green hat. What am I then? A rainbow hat? No, classifying yourself induces more negatives than it does positives.
It's about moral, ethics, not skill limitation. Your actions are always driven by your personality and motives, this also applies on hacking. There's nothing bad about limitation: Knowing your limits is the first step at defining yourself. The man is limitless, true, but that's only after he breaks his already-known limits, and goes farther. But then again, are those limits we are interested in crossing?
I strive to be WH because morals, it helps me sleep at night.
99.99% of the forum members belongs in the category of skids.

And what do classify yourself as Mr Skiddy?

There's some truth in this statement. But then again: Life is full of people not being who they claim to be. Security managers, SysAdmins, Networking managers and generally lots of people from the IT industry are only there because of favoritism and not skill. You can see it the most on tech stores; everything is bullshit.
You could say I'm a mix of an "Elite Hacker" and a "Green Hat Hacker".
I mainly hack to gain money from it.

I am not a hacker, I am not a skid. This forum have approx 500.000 members, a lot are inactive, 5000 are 0.01%. It contains of "non hackers and rat k3yl0gger5 hackers and people selling black hat methods to earn 5000$ month for $5."
