Visual Studio 2012 or Visual Studio 2013?

I currently have Visual Studio 2013 Preview I got it from dreamspark and I don't get why its a preview version, 2013 seems better but my teacher complains that he can't open my project since he uses Microsoft Visual C# 2010 or VS 2010. I had 2012 but I lost it since I installed a clean version of Windows, I wonder if I should change back to 2012. I only have 126 days trial on VS 2013 Preview, I have a student account so I should have access to all software and I don't get why I get a Preview version of VS 2013, Is VS 2013 even released or is it still in Preview? Thanks in advance.

Try Visual Studio 2010. :) It's fast unlike VS2012 or VS2013 somehow it just lags my PC.
