Difference between Malware Bytes scans & &[b]#34[/b];regular&[b]#34[/b]; antivirus scans?

I use ESET NOD32 & Malware Bytes, both registered version and up to date. Can someone explain to me the benefits or pro & cons of running a MalwareBytes "full"/"quick" scan vs scanning my computer with ESET NOD32s scanner or other AV scanners. Is Malware Bytes better at targeting viruses? Also, I haven't installed Microsoft Security Essentials, is it truly essential?

So true i am just wondering why so many people in here think that MB will detected more than nod 32 is a realy good choice for a secondary scanner.
