What is this used for? Is it some sort of encryption, if so what exactly is it protecting and how do I do it for my own jars?

try to search its component in the internet or much better open it and read its code

idk how to open it... and I have been researching and its an encryption but idk what exactly it is doing for the jar file? Like is it stopping people form decompiling or what?

It's signing a jar file...attempts to stop other applications from dynamically running that jar. Can be "unsigned" in 3 seconds though so it's not really too important.
