I started learning javascript through video tutorials i completely understand the way how to put the code on videos but once i am going to create my own code i dont remember anything:( and i am getting really depressed and stuck any idea?

I'm not really a programmer, or a knowledgeable guy about that, but it looks like to me you need more practice. Just take it easy and remember, practice makes perfect.

I have this problem and I found a solution for that : Use of todo-lists.
Now, I have a white board where I put everything I have to do on it and I love erase something I have done ... that's why I keep doing things I have to do now.
SticK can be used as a toto-list, but it is better to write I think + I just have to turn my head to see what's left.

Excellent! I actually remembered that when I posted the thread, but forgot to add it. Setting small time goals that are heading towards the big ones is a nice way of getting yourself motivated and into a work routine. Great advice!
Read all 3 related threads and you realy motivated me! ,,,too bad that I have to sleep now and wake up just as lazy and bored as usual,,, oh wait,, I can write a note to my self that I see first thing I wake up: MAKE MONEY! NOW!

All what you say really makes sense, and i can easily identify myself with what you write. Really well written, and i already bookmarked this thread! :)

I've got some questions that i would be happy you answered:

Your thoughts about procrastination seems very psychological. Do you study psychology?

You say alot about setting goals and consequenses are the way out of laziness and the way to start concentrating.
Do you have any other tips/ways for getting rid of laziness?

Put link in bookmark folder :P

Glad you liked it!

I don't study psychology (I study economics), but I am interested in it, so I educate myself from books and online.

Yes.
1# To-do lists - you would not believe how useful they are!
2# Set small goals that are easily reachable, but are leading you to your big goal
3# Start accomplishing something, and once you realize how good it feels, you'll keep doing it

Other than that guys, I made a new thread about mistakes that newbies in IM make, and you could be making them as well! /1bpcp9y]Click here to check them out!
