Well the most basic method would be to just search your keyword into the Youtube search bar - if you arent in the first few pages then you havent effectively boosted your video yet.
And your video is on Google, its just not ranked at all. To get it higher in Google you need backlinks/social pings. These are pretty easy to get, I usually just buy 1k backlinks off fiverr for my video url. Google doesnt rank video backlinks on quality, so you arent penalized for shitty fiverr backlinks :)
