Every time I go to a website and input a Youtube video url to see where I rank on Google for a specific keyword, it just says invalid domain or something along that line. Also im pretty sure my video isn't going to be ranked so im using someone elses video who is ranked on the 1st page of Google to make sure im doing it right.

What am I doing wrong?
Also how can I make my Youtube video appear on Google? Im not really looking for it to be on page 1-5 the first day but I want to at least see it appear.

Well the most basic method would be to just search your keyword into the Youtube search bar - if you arent in the first few pages then you havent effectively boosted your video yet.

And your video is on Google, its just not ranked at all. To get it higher in Google you need backlinks/social pings. These are pretty easy to get, I usually just buy 1k backlinks off fiverr for my video url. Google doesnt rank video backlinks on quality, so you arent penalized for shitty fiverr backlinks :)
