I have seen FAR TO MANY threads asking about jailbreaking and how to do it etc.
First off yes, Tick made a great tutorial but I personally don't think there was enough information to really help anyone, so I am composing this thread. Please post any questions and I will try to help you as best as I can!

Things you'll need:
A Budget of at the very least $70 USD
A USB
A laptop and some skill with it.
Here are videos you NEED to watch before anything.
Getting started:

2. How to QA flag your PS3: VERY IMPORTANT!

INSTALLING REBUG

Installing Rebug and converting from CEX to DEX:
1. How to install Rebug
2. Convert from CEX to DEX
I recommend switching from Rebug to ITA but ITA is a DEX only firmware so you will still need to install Rebug and convert from CEX to DEX.
Converting from REBUG to ITA

I can do (close to) whatever on it, what's QA-flagging? It makes it a a lot more easy to downgrade your PS3 from say 4.55 CFW back to 3.55 to install a different firmware instead of having to install rogeros 99999 update or whatever then going back down. QA flagging redcuces the chance of bricking your PS3 during that process. 🤝

i'm a noob i don't know lool If you're on a CFW already no. If you have not jailbroken your PS3 then yes you will need an E3 Flasher or someone who has one to do it for you. Please refer to the downgrade section on the OP. 🤝
Yea I heard now if you want to downgrade you have to send it into psn itself
Idk if I want to do that just to jailbreak it

there is this ghost hack tool that's available to download. there is a lot of videos on youtube. unfortunately all of the links ive come across you have to complete surveys or partake in offers ect. this has nothing to do with jailbreaking your ps3. its just a tool that you download, enter your credentials and then it hacks for you. (basically hacks your psn id @ activision). you click the the tabs that you want to hack. you can for instance enable godmode and leave the rest, or do just what you like.
is this a scam or is there really something like that out there?
what is your thoughts

what is your thoughts It depends, if it requires you to put in your PSN id and password yes it is fake. If it wants an IP then it is most likely a real tool because that is how the modding tools woirk with the PS3 vis FTP (file transfer protocol) server. And in order for the FTP server to connect to your PS3 it has to be jailbroken with the FTP pkg installed on it.
