[Zabuza]

Good luck to any applicants. FBN is incredibly HQ, and make incredible art.

[Baghead]

I was informed you accepted musicians as well.
Is this still true? And if so, is this recruitment thread only for artists, or can musicians apply as well?

Thank you. 🤝

We accept musicians, feel free to apply as long as you have work to show.

[Skitlz]

Always wanted to be apart of FBN, never thought my designs where worth it though.

Not the most talented out their, but enjoy it a fuck ton.

[DᴇᴀᴅPᴏᴏʟ]

I would love to apply but my work is no where near as good as FBN members. Maybe in the future I will apply, Good Luck to everyone that does.

[potatopete54]

@Quiickted, my neck can't twist 90 degrees leftwards or rightwards, so can you adjust your skills graph so that nobody has to stress out and break necks over reading a graph. No offence <:

[Eeluminati]

I am assuming this is for member positions and not student positions. Will there be student applications anytime soon? And just so I don't waste my time, am I blacklisted?

---

I'd be extremely suprised if you don't get accepted. I personally think you and Quiickted have a good shot.

Good luck to all who've entered!

Give me a few years and I'll be applying:)

You shouldn't put yourself down like that. Your stuff looks fine, but there is always room for improvement. Everyone has different strengths/weaknesses, even most FBN members.

About

I'm a 15 year old male attending a top school in England. Born in London and raised in London, I've never lived anywhere but here - although that's not to say I haven't had some extremely adventurous holidays to places including California, Dubai, Portugal and Pakistan. I spend a lot of time coding in HTML, CSS, and PHP, and I am currently designing my school's website and working on a text-based MMORPG which will be an airline sim. I have little musical background but I'm able to use my ears to decide what sounds right and what sounds wrong when it comes to the creation of music.

I first started using computers when I was 8 and I spend a lot of time listening to music - specifically electronic dance music (hence why attempts at producing it. I'm someone who wants to try and make everything I enjoy doing - for example when I first started playing text-based MMORPGs I wanted to create my own... and so I am now. When I started listening to electronic dance music it made me again want to create my own, and that's what I'm doing now. I'm both stubborn and persevering person which, while sometimes a problem, really allows me to go after my dreams without giving up.

Experience

I began to listen to electronic music just prior to the Olympics, in early 2012. I predominantly listened to Skrillex and I remember on one occasion going to see the triathlon in Hyde Park with a friend, where I played the song "Weekends" for almost two hours straight. As I listened to it more & more, I began to look deeper into the realms of electronic dance music, and eventually I stumbled across Monstercat in what I believe was late August 2012. Their first song I listened to was "Live it Up" by Stephen Walking and I've been in love ever since; I follow Monstercat all the time and listen to every one of their songs within hours of their release. Anywho, onto when I actually started producing music. I think it was November 2012 when I began to ponder over the production of music. I'd watched the biggest DJs performing at concerts such as Tomorrowland and I wanted to get into producing. I downloaded Ableton Live onto my crappy desktop PC and messed around a bit with it but never really got anywhere and abandoned all hopes. However, in 2013 I built my own PC and decided to give music producing another shot. Again, I messed around on a DAW - this time FL Studio - a bit but similarly to before, never really got anywhere...

...until October. In October, I managed to produce my first "real" song. It'll be linked at the bottom of this section. From there, I talked to some other people producing music at my level and we progressed alongside each other. I produced more and more music until where I am today, and I enjoy it a hell of a lot. I spend a lot of time producing and I have no intention of stopping. :)

More

Yes, I know I'm new to HF and I know I've only made 8 posts. But that's not to say I'm here to spam. I'm here to fit in and enjoy myself and I thought it was worth a shot to apply. If you, for whatever reason, feel as though I'm just re-uploading other peoples' works I have the FLPs and I'm more than willing to show you them upon request. It'd be very much appreciated if you did not judge me on my rank here and post count and actually considered me for a genuine spot on your group. Thank you very much.
