Chapter I (Introduction)

We marched, we marched within the shadows of our fallen city, the city of Ruin. The silence shattered beneath our feet like glass, we marched toward the heart of our broken city, we knowingly marched toward our death. This City was once a great world of things, it was the kingdom of life, a haven of sanctuary and prosperity, and now it had just become this fallen kingdom of death.

For the last eight years, Humanity has been on the brink of extinction. What once was an overly populated and defiled earth, had now become a wasteland of war and death. The world reduced to nothing but a pile of ash and bones, the only city that remained though it all, was the city of Ruin.

Eight years ago, the world erupted into crossfire, the sky began to fall and ground started to split in two. And from both worlds came a legion of Demon’s & Angels. They chose our earth as their arena.

It was something so beautiful and sad to see the first Angels fall from the sky, we’d only heard Whispers of their existence, no actual evidence. They came from a world so unlike our own. For those who were lucky enough to see it, could now tell you that it was a something of a sadness, to see the Angels leave a world like that, to save what was left of ours. For their first moments here on earth, the Angels had become the most beautiful sight humanity had ever seen. They were all white and gold. Their skin, white like polished stone. Scripture, written in an ancient language that looked like liquid fire, marked their perfect bodies. Their eyes burned with a golden incandesce, they were what you would expect an Angel from heaven to look like, only more beautiful & real.

When the Demon’s first came, the world turned dark and began to split in half, it was something to be expected apparently. A wave of misery and sadness had hit the Earth, and we began to die even before they arrived. The first Demon that entered Earth, looked like it had come from a twisted boy’s nightmare, only it was real and standing 15 feet in front humanity. They were all different shapes and sizes, glowing red eye’s, burnt & twisted, scales or skin, whatever it was, they had now become our embodiment of fear. They all wore the same stench of death, and carried with them a desire to see everything burn.

At first, the only thing that stood between us and the annihilation of our race & world, were the Angels. But as the war raged on, as cities burned, Humanity had found a chance at Hope, they had found the City Of Ruin.

I enjoy photography, graphic design, painting, digital painting and writing! All things art really. I love learning, I love creativity. I strive to better, I'm constantly interested in improving my work and constantly seeking to exploit my artistic side. I'm also an avid writer ( I'm working on 4 books at the moment, and doing writing work for a few members on here too! ) and a psych enthusiast. I love music, absolutely. I wish to learn the piano and violin in the upcoming months hopefully.

As a person I wish to be successful as a writer (By future career choice) designer and a musician.

Anything else:
I love art & I love learning. I'm motivated to be the best I can be. I don't know where my suitability stands and what area of graphic design I specialize in, so I'm constantly moving around and learning all different styles and arts. I just want to keep learning new things!

I am Grimm, an aspiring web developer in addition to being employed in Customer Support. I joined HackForums at the beginning of this year and do not regret it in the slightest.

The people here at HackForums have treated me well and I attempt to do the same.
