I know how you feel about VB6 being your given IDE without a choice, my school is the same. Anyway there is an auto-suggest of a sort. Such as when creating a variable or doing something Like Text1."" will bring up all the options associated with the text box e.g Text, PasswordChar etc. The same is said for all controls. Unfortunately the auto-suggest isn't as broad as VB.NET's where it suggests functions or whatever, you'll have to make do with your knowledge but if the cases are rearranging or words are turning blue then you're on the right track - from a simple point of view.

(Apr 23, 2014 01:20 PM)pwntoken Wrote: yes it's alright now. Fixed when I started off VB6 in Win8 with elevated priviledges. It was a OLE which wasn't able to communicate with internal COM imo... the other guy gave me the idea. I ran using admin priv. 🤝 Dont forget to post your solution and add to the titel SOLVED. for any other ppl that get the same problem. |
