QCrypter 1.0 - Message Encryption using Images

Well here it is my latest work the QCrypter.
It is open source you may tinker, you may use, as long you will credit me for my work.

Features:
- Custom colors for pixel identification
- Aes encryption

The library works as follows:

Declare the engine
Code
qc = New QCrypt.Engine

Assign the key and generate the image with the message as parameter
Code
qc.Key = MyKey.Text
qc.GenerateImage(Msg)

To retrieve the image:
Code
Picturebox1.BackgroundImage = qc.QImage

To resolve an image (and using the correct key):
Code
qc.Key = MyKey.Text
Textbox1.Text = qc.Resolve(CType(Picturebox1.BackgroundImage, Bitmap))

Qeustions and feedback welcome 🎉

Why not more than 2 colors? It would decrease the image size a lot. This is not really a crypter either.

I agree but this what i wanted, and for that encrypter part, the name is borrowed from the well known Qr coding derrived to Qcrypter since it does use encryption to the embedded message.

Any more critism?

You see the patterns on the image, leaking information about the input. Check the article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Block_ciph..._operation and scroll to the part with picture of a penguin. Check the second image from left.
A mode like CBC would be much better suited for applications like this.

Apart from that, good project idea and a nice contribution to the forum.

Hmm that is intresting, thanks for bringing those links that rly did grabbed my attention.
hmm, This is a good start and with some work. You could have a full blown project going
