I'd say 9/10, make the width less. Thanks ;)
Sales Thread Design [Serious Feedback Needed] Update - Revision 2 |
|
The spacing in the top box between the texts are too wide, also make the height of the first box smaller. Furthermore try experimenting with different shades of green that are more visually appealing and casual so no strain is caused on the viewers eyes. Also the sales box is way overcrowded for a simple design such as yours, sorry if my CnC wasn't too good. I just couldn't find many faults with your design I would give it a 9/10.

Personally, I love the idea of having large amounts of padding. Aired's are nice examples of the amount of padding and the use of font weights/sizes. Aside from your content (grammar, anyone?) (I understand you're not perfect with English), your thread design is a blend of both great and not-so-great bits here and there.
Starting from the header, the quote definitely does not help in my opinion. The black and white background doesn't like me and I don't like it; bring some more colour! The splash of green definitely does not stand out enough for the entire background to be black and white. Round the edges of those rectangles a bit more (2/3/4px?), it looks like 1px rounded currently and that does not do much, still looks squared off if you glance quickly. The header unit in general needs a 'hero' to it. Now down to the second part, the heading probably needs a larger size to it and the divider doesn't sit flush; possibly remove it instead. Your pricing area is not bad, it definitely is good to look at. Same thing with what I said above about the rounded rectangles. The columns needs more padding in between (40px?). The divider also isn't sitting too flush, possibly remove it? Your typography and alignment are fine, but why is your text spacing so god damn wide? 'All rights reserved' those bits shouldn't stand out too much. Anti-aliasing seems really really sharp, try setting your anti-aliasing to crisp. The design in general seems bland like Greek yogurt (ew i hate that shit). I think you need to put your best pieces in your thread design as a portfolio thing, I'm sure many of us don't like to click and click and click.
In your second revision, it looks like you've changed the font anti-aliasing like I said in my previous post, but now the font looks blurred because of the thin font weight + anti-aliasing setting on your smaller body font size. Try playing around with font weights to emphasize small bits of text.
