It actually does work, and the reason for this is that Facebook found out that Indonesian names are too damn big, and they didn't want to use them that way, therefore they allowed Indonesians to use only the first name on their Facebook(as per their wish).
Pretty unfair on my opinion.

This has been around for a while and as soon as someone reports your account expect your account to be closed.. Facebook requires all legit info.
