1 + 4 = 5
2 + 5 = 12
3 + 6 = 21
8 + 11 = ?


This is just a sanity check for me.
There were a few answers given. Most people said 40.

I said 96,
because
IF ( X + Y = Z ) <==what is shown ,
THEN ((( X * Y ) + X ) = Z )

To me this is the only one answer that will work with this, and in every case.

I see no reason to link any one equation to the answer from another that happens to be placed above it.
There are no logical operators there to suggest so.
