Seth Rogan and James Franco are 2 of my favorite actors, so right off the bat I had a bit of a bias. That aside, I still enjoyed the humor in the movie. Whether the humor be morbid (the finger, the tiger, the guy getting his head blown off in front of those kids), crude (The shuttle in the ass thing), or parody (Eminem or Kim Jong Un), it kept me laughing the entire time. I'll most likely end up buying it at some time.
Some funny scenes, especially the tiger scene. 🤣
I can agree with how North Korea could be offended by this movie. I mean, if they made a movie about the United States and President Obama getting killed it would raise global controversy and be hell.
Just finished watching it.
Great film overall.
#pure #american #propaganda againist korea
I personally loved it. There was some unnecessary gore in it, but it's fine.
It was funny, had some nudity (wink wink) and I just liked it.
The only problem I personally felt was that it was too many jokes about North Korea and such. There was plenty of stuff that wouldn't have been needed in the movie for it to be good.
(Excuse my english)
There is better movies out there, but it's definitely worth watching!
I just downloaded a great hd quality of the movie "The Interview" from the "bigU Movies" app I got from Cydia. I think either xsellize repo, insanelyi repo, Appcake or Zeusmos has the bigU Movies app
Also you can watch or download the movie The Interview in HD quality on any iOS device or Android device from imoviesapp, com
i loved all the actors/artist cameos. Eminem part was funny
I Actually Liked it, That deathscene had me like :O
It was okay but at the same time kind of dumb. The whole "hacking bomb threat" thing was just a publicity stunt in my opinion, felt like they were just trying to get a few more bucks but actually the box office says they went away average at what they expected so it must not have worked.

I know there's other threads, but this one is review oriented.
Here are my thoughts:
I thought the movie was OK.
There were a lot of funny moments, even though a couple of the jokes were too inappropriate.
Aside from that, there were some scenes that didn't really fit in with the movie. Sony could have done better editing on some of them.
The gore was a lot to handle. It was unnecessary for so many fingers to be bitten off and for the aide to Kim Jong Un to be shot in the head, etc.
James Franco's character was funny but irritating sometimes during the first half of the movie, there were parts where he overacted. But in the second half he toned it down and became much better.
As for Kim Jong Un (in the movie), there were times I felt sympathy for him, and times that showed his ruthless leadership. I know in real life though that he is more scary looking and would not be as open to "Dave Skylark" as he was to "Dennis Rodman".
But movies are not meant to be realistic. In a way I can see how North Korea would be offended by this. After seeing this movie, my thoughts on North Korea, is for America to mind it's own business and leave Kim Jong Un alone, after all they do have nukes and we don't want to be in conflict.
Overall I think it was a movie worth watching, there could have been improvements, but I'm glad it came out. Without the gore, I think the message would have been stronger and more professional.
I give it a 7.5 or 8 out of 10. Because it did make me laugh a lot of times and that's what comedies are for :)
I didn't bother to watch it. Everyone is targeting one another in term of espionage in other government ideas or politics.
I have gathered my thoughts in a large and detailed/indexed report and review that i have created using the thoughts and background knowledge that i have gathered throughout watching this film, i have put into consideration the screenplay, writing, poetic devices, etc used during the film.
My thoughts on this film are
Mcconaughey Goat Fuck?!
Thank you for your time.
I loved and it but like everyone else said, the finger biting really caught me off guard. My favorite part was at the very ending when they were in tank haha.
