It's probably best to wait a few weeks before trying to get into other markets, OMC will be viewed as insecure until we have more details on how the recent breach occured.
Priority #1 for Omnicoin |

But I think it's time we renew the effort to get listed at a more well-known exchange like Cryptsy. This might seem like a bit of a stretch and definitely require a considerable amount of time and resources but what if you were to create your own currency exchange website? You are able to run this one fairly well by yourself and if you were to create and exchange site you would undoubtedly have decent people working with you ( example: the current Omnicoim staff and such) with a slight bit of advertising because of all the recent downfalls to big exchange sites, you could definitely get high rankings and a lot of users. I do apologize if this sounds stupid or uneducated in any way but it is definitely a legitimate possibility. A fresh coin? Again? Hell no. What's wrong with the currency now? Nothing. I agree we should look into bigger exchanges. Mass tweeting isn't a bad idea.
We could all tweet at Bter. (https://twitter.com/btercom)
They actually have a voting going on, they add coins that get lots of votes apparently. It says this on the page; "You are welcome to recommend new coins to us by submitting a ticket at here with the coin announcement link. " Here's what it looks like: Spoiler (Click to View) I think if we had tons of members tweet at them and submit tickets they'd actually add the coin. Only thing that sucks is that you have to have some kind of small exchange history. It's worth checking it out, sign up and look at the voting.
Most exchanges want to see that there is a large community behind a coin which is why some companies ask that people get retweets or Facebook followers to a page. We need to show the exchange(s) that we have a very large backing by a group of people with thousands of BTC to invest should they be interested in doing so. Another part of that would be implementation of the tipping system and release of the plug in so that other forums could use it. This would give OMC a larger purpose which would help to supply the volume that would keep us listed on major exchanges.

Omni, i think you should look at this with a clear head before we make any vital decisions that could potentially ruin reputation and such. Mass tweeting wouldn't be such a bad idea as other users have said. But we need to rethink possibilities on larger exchanges and such. What approach do you have in mind at this point.
