Hello there.

I'd like to create my own theme. I've already been recommended to watch Mavamaartens' and Earn's tutorials, but I faced two problems.

1. Mavamaartens used the themebase made by Aeonhack. I want to create my own theme without having to use his code.

2. Earn's tutorial wasn't extensive. He showed us how you can create the container but that was about it. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a bad tutorial, I'm just looking for more.

So do any of you guys have anything at all I can look at? I really want to create my own theme, but I can't seem to find any tutorials anywhere.

Copying the code isn't going to help me and learning the code would take ages. It's a waste of time when it can be done much faster by reading or viewing a tutorial series.

I'd prefer tutorials where the code is explained instead of just source codes.

then u will need to wait until some1 create another tut and who knows if it will be good for u 😊

Ah right, I forgot all about e-books. I'll try to search for some. Do you recommend any, dex73r?

Also, Rawrrasaurus, I can't find any tutorials about how to make themes on that website. Could you perhaps link me one or two?

Yes. In fact, people keep recommending me to learn WPF because it's so customizable and easy to work with, but I just think I'd learn a lot by creating themes the hard way. This is actually more of a "test myself" thing than a "I want to be a pro".

Also, thanks for those links, Only3. They're helpful.
