Removing posts won't remove the drama, people will bitch about it outside of the thread regardless. Personally I don't want to see MotM brought back. I wanted to be on the poll for ages then when I finally got nominated it just became a big shit storm of everyone else in the poll begging for votes and making it all into something retarded.

This. People will still bitch about it. Even if posting is disallowed and there are strict rules against creating threads, other threads will be turned into bitching and arguing and drama. People will start posting on threads that were unrelated in creation about MotM and it'll develop, and rules will be bent.
MotM is completely pointless imo and tbh I'd actually like it back personally because drama is hilarious to me, but based on what I know about your view on drama, Omni, this is a terrible idea imo.
