I have conflicted thoughts about the artwork and animating, but nonetheless it looks like an interesting one.

The character/monster animations are God awful.

The monsters are your typical CGI monsters that look better than everything else.
The characters look like they're drawn with water paint and then horribly rendered.

The white lines around the characters absolutely ruined it for me. Decent plot and all but everything else destroys my eyes.

Well, I've just watched the first episode.... and yes Cgi looks awful, but I must admit the story is intriguing. I think I'll keep watching it.

WARNING SPOILERS! EPISODES 0-3!

I've seen all 4 episodes so far (0-3) and I have to say, I like the series. The "New-Type" phrase had me at a bit of a wonder until episode 2, and the original starting episode (1) was very fast paced at the beginning. I wish they would have done more of a background on the main character, but perhaps that'll come later on down the road or in an OVA. I would have definitely liked to see the main characters life before the excitement happens and joining the fight against the monsters. Especially where the doctors are so interested about how he is a New-Type and from the outside.

I dislike the weapons, they don't look really creative.
If I was making a such anime I'd do something similar to the concept of Prototype series.
