[color=#FF0000]C# Comments What Is It: Comments are sections of text inside of your source code that C# will ignore. These comments can be used to leave notes for yourself for use at a later time, to cancel out code you don't want executed, or to leave notes for someone else to whom you are giving your source code. Getting Started: Comments are very easy to use, to begin a comment you simply type two forward slashes: [color=#00BFFF]// Everything after the start of your comment will turn the color green and will not be executed by your debugger, or after you compile your application. http://i52.tinypic.com/31326vm.jpg Conclusion: There is not much to say about comments, use them when you need to remind yourself of an idea or snippet of code later, or use them to make sure code is not executed when you are testing during a debug session or after your application is compiled!
