C# Comments
What Is It:
Comments are sections of text inside of your source code that C# will ignore. These comments can be used to leave notes for yourself for use at a later time, to cancel out code you don't want executed, or to leave notes for someone else to whom you are giving your source code.
Getting Started:
Comments are very easy to use, to begin a comment you simply type two forward slashes:
//
Everything after the start of your comment will turn the color green and will not be executed by your debugger, or after you compile your application.

Conclusion:
There is not much to say about comments, use them when you need to remind yourself of an idea or snippet of code later, or use them to make sure code is not executed when you are testing during a debug session or after your application is compiled!

Tutorial on comments? Why, oh why do I find that so funny?
Probably coding some useless shit.

I already summed it up, in my previous post that got deleted.
do tell me OP, what is the effect of this?
Code /* MessageBox.Show("OP Can't Code!"); */
If you would take a look at my other tutorials you would notice I am starting out with tuts for absolute beginners. So, taking that into consideration, how would someone who has never worked with C# know what a comment is?
I appreciate your comment, thanks! Have a nice day.

no offense...
why are you wasting your time doing all these?
i mean, re-writing a tutorial that can be found on google ?
er... i mean look.
there have been 1000's of EXPERTS write a way more complete explanation than anything you have posted. if you did a stupid simple google search you would see that the first 5~10 pages all contain a better "Tut" than this(or any of your others).
anyone with a computer and 2 brain cells left in their head would know to google something.
post a tut of something thats not easily found with a 3 word google search and then you may get more of whatever your looking for.
anyway... like i said "no offense" but your wasting your time.
love me or hate me, i would rather learn from someone that has the credentials to back up their statements rather than some kid on HF

Ah, see Nathan, now I do appreciate your constructive criticism. One of the main reasons I am writing these tutorials is to give back to the community. There seem to be way more Visual Basic tutorials here compared to C#.
Another reason is because a lot of articles online do not provide "Hands On" help. A lot of people could search something on Google, but if they don't understand it, a lot of the time they will come back to hackforums and ask their question. Now, I am just starting out with these tutorials, so, once I get past a lot of the beginner stuff, I can move on to more advanced things that people may not understand from simply Googling.
I really do appreciate your feedback. Thanks.
I see what yo are doing and appreciate it. Now new people will see these BEFORE asking the question.
that is if they search, which most don't :p
