BAT $2 in 2020 |

BAT, though it’s failed to break .50 and that resistance a couple times, don’t be a fool to think it’s not a good project. The browser is great and helps reduce ad traffic, and there’s an incentive with it’s rewards too. Only time before users start waking up...

It's a cool project, but they have definitely taken shady actions to try and monetise it while being pretty dishonest about how they do this from what I've seen. I think this reply puts it best ![]() You can read about some of these instances here: https://nitter.net/cryptonator1337/statu...7716374528 https://archive.vn/cAGpe ![]() Those are just three I've seen, heard of a few more also. By the way I'm not criticising the call, a lot of people like Brave which is evident as they keep getting new users everyday but overall I think they're just as shady and scummy, if not more than other web browser providers.

Let's, for the sake of argument, say that the price of 1 BAT remained at $1 USD for an entire year. You could argue that the price hasn't changed at all, but in the meanwhile, inflation (and many other economical factors, for that matter) is(/are) still a thing when it comes to the USD. If we take our hypothetical experiment a bit further in order to clarify what inflation means, let's argue that last year you could buy one whole bread with $1 USD but this year, you can only buy half a bread with only a single USD. This is just a tiny fraction of how economics work, and how things can actually decrease or increase in value due to the many factors that are at play here, and not just the 'price' of something. ![]()
I still follow BAT and a number of things have stalled their progress. I no longer consider them a top investment as a crypto. So yes, if it pleases some to know I can be wrong, I admit that I was wrong.

I guess that's true, and because of the pandemic I'm sure, for some, most of the things that were considered common or negligible are of value now, currency itself cannot feed people if no one is willing to take them. This thread was made in April 2019, this was before even the pandemic had any rumors going about, so it probably would have been $2 and other cryptos as well to rise if none of this would have happened, but in the end, that's wishful thinking from me. 😤 (Dec 13, 2020 06:29 PM)Lyralei Wrote: I guess that's true, and because of the pandemic I'm sure, for some, most of the things that were considered common or negligible are of value now, currency itself cannot feed people if no one is willing to take them. I've been following this project since before they even had a working product. It never would have hit above $1 even without the pandemic or rumors in my opinion. Dang, it's already $0.14 by then, to be honest stuff like BAT is what scares me from investing in utility tokens with the expectation of it growing by a lot, so with this, I guess it's never meant to grow by a considerable amount? 😕 (Dec 13, 2020 06:36 PM)Lyralei Wrote: Dang, it's already $0.14 by then, to be honest stuff like BAT is what scares me from investing in utility tokens with the expectation of it growing by a lot, so with this, I guess it's never meant to grow by a considerable amount? 😕 IMHO BAT lacks the partnerships and marketing it needs to make the impact it wants.
