I would still recommend an hardware wallet, if not you can try Myetherwallet,Jaxx,Mist or Exodus.

Exodus is good , but best thing to do is get a hardware wallet , yes they are expensive but so worth it and no worries.

Buy it on bittrex.com or Liqui.io for bitcoins. If you don´t own bitcoins buy some for example on coinbase.com. If you want extra btc worth of 10$, i can send you my ref link. You will get extra btc only if you buy bitcoins worth more than 100$.

Buy it on Bittrex and store it on MEW or Bittrex.
My advice would still be a hardware wallet since its a safer option.
