Yes, Twitch chat is all IRC based, which means you (and everyone else) are connecting to Twitch's IRC server. Also, they mask IP's from whois. So basically, it's not possible to get someone's IP from Twitch stream (IRC) chat.

Hello me from two years ago. You're mostly correct, however if the website defaults to the local domain settings, then sub-domains do not share the same cookies due the Same-Origin-Policy.

i know this is old, however, try to see if they use the same username for skype, if not it's okay.. most of the time they have youtube, twitter, facebook, instagram, linked, okay now you should have more usernames, if not it's fine.. if they have their youtube channel.. now go to their about on their youtube channel.. you should see "Details
For business inquiries View email address" okay now you got the email.. go to a website like skypegrab.net/email2skype.php type in the email, get the skype, skype resolve them, boom.. i hope this help some.. ✌

I'm sure that there is a way to get someones IP who wrote in the Twitch chat. I know someone who used a script (he said skript but i'm not sure if this is right) to find out the IP of an Troll. After that he gave them a ddos attack. I'm pretty sure, that it worked, because it was my own stream. The problem is: he won't tell me what script/programm he used.

So yeah there is a way, but don't ask me how :/ I would be glad if someone has more informations about how to solve this question. I spend a lot of time in google and co but i can't find something...

No there must be a way that only uses the twitch chat. The Troll i had hacked my Twitch Acc while i was streaming but my own stream was still live. So the hacker only wrote with my account in my own twitch chat. And my buddy only used a script/programm whatever which said him with what IP this post in chat was send

I could do it through wireshark sniffing there ip. but its hard af to find it you need to end every task and only have that twitch open on your computer and most of the ips that pop up will be twitch servers ip. but if you do it for a long time youll prob find there ip
