Dad: "You fucked up your results and now you fucked your life"

She threw me out and I moved into my grandmothers house (I was 17). I ended up making like $5,000 in about 2 months. I showed my mom and she still called me a stupid fuck and said.
"Online money is great, and i'm proud of you. The point is that you need real life work experience and not just be unsocial and sit on your computer 24/7."
I get where she was coming from, but I'm not going to change my lifestyle because other kids are having a social life.

Man, I feel exactly the same, I make money online and when I showed my Dad earlier he assumed that I was stealing someone elses work. I feel offended man, that is like saying I can't do shit for myself. I have a social life too, I go out every night with friends and have a drink on the weekend and what not. Adults now do not realise that computers and online is the future, knowing how to change a lightbulb or fix a boiler or put a roof on is great and we need that but that's just not me and I don't want to end up doing something like that for the rest of my life because my parents forced me to when I was young.
Fuck his opinion then, lol.

The only one that's going to get to live through your decisions is you, regardless of them being good or bad.

If you're making money online is it really that fluent and you can promise you can pay for yourself?

If you want to know the truth, it is because if I do that, I am young now, my house will get trashed, I will constantly have friends over, I will never have the time to clean it up (the room I am sat in now is a constant mess), I cannot be bothered to go shopping, etc. The reason for this is because I don't have to. If I had to, I would do these things.

This is utter nonsense, I got a C in my ICT GCSE and I did A level computing...

OT:
OP don't let your parents get to you, just listen to them and shrug it off because at the end of the day life is what YOU want it to be not what your parents want it to be. If at 17 you're fluent in those languages, you would be an asset to any company. I got a job as a Network administrator with little to no programming knowledge and my main duty is making bash scripts (I have one open as I type this xD). So If somebody like you with all that knowledge on all those languages you're going to be making £50k a year by the time you're 20.
programming is great.
and you can get an amazing job being a programmer. but you'll need grades to get your foot in the door and an interview.
just get your C's in english math and science. if you've got those man, nothings stopping you.
but, do you want to be programming behind a screen all day every day for the rest of your life.
i mean, its not my idea of a dream but if its something you definitely want to do, run with it, dont let anybody tell you different.

That's called responsibility.
When you're working with programming you have dead lines, that's responsibility.
You really think life is easy after school don't you?
I'm not trying to sound harsh just trying to get a point through.

Man thanks for this, I know that with my assets I can make money, I can get a job easily but I am happy as I am now making money online, if I need a job, I can easily get one, you don't even need to put an application in nowadays, I could just E-mail an employer of a company that requires some technical skills and make money.

Life can be easy after school if I play this right. If I play it wrong, it will be hard.

However, I am 99.9% certain I already have done it right.
Jesus they are fucking GCSE's at the end of the day. They mean nothing to be honest as long as you have your Maths, Science and English almost any college will take you for A-levels

Your dad is being too harsh on you.
There's many very wealthy people in the world, who all graduated from the street, without a diploma (Meek Mill). Anyway, if you do your coding right and you love it, fuck history and other shit subjects in school. It is only waste of time. If you're really burning for programming and you actually are good at it, and you are able to make money. Then FUCK everybody and everything else.

I wish you good luck in the future. I just think your daddy can't face the truth, that you nowadays can be succesfull, without having a shitty job at some shitty local store. Or by not having a fucking graduation that takes you 5 years, and then you can start getting a normal job. It's just something old people can't face, or thats atleat how I have experienced it at my own. Even tho my own father has started to understand the internet world, and right now he is very happy for me taking an education based on programming.
Well, shit happens. You'll grow up, move out, be successful or fail. Maybe even neither. Maybe you'll just be well off.

Flats are shit ton of money, I would wait til an house, be alot cheaper :P

How? A flat is what, like £300 a month, whilst houses are £500 a month.

That's complete bullshit. A "programming company" as you so eloquently put it wouldn't give a shit about A-Levels or even GCSEs.

They'd care about your Uni degree, past experience and current potential.
Luckily, my dad is the person who most incourajes me into programming, he is owner of a big company, like as big as Sony for example & he loves to see me doing this programming. What he doesn't like neither does my mom is hackforums because they think I can get banned from some countries and have cautions, pretty much they think making money online is illegal!

Cheers & best of luck with your life, hopefully you'll prove your dad wrong 🤝
