I think Omni changed the colors of normal members when he was playing about with the theme. But a lot of members complained due to the multiple colors, it got slightly confusing.

Everything is fine the way it is. HF is unique, so changing colors of default members could ruin the nostalgia.

It's just the upgraded members changing their name color back to regular member or group color. Whatever works is fine with me I'll never use this feature. I just notice a lot of people disliking their username color and stuff and I feel like if this was an option more people may upgrade.

Honestly I find the blue colour of Ub3r to be pretty nice. It fits in well with the purple theme. However the L33t colour doesn't at all. So maybe it would be a good idea.

White always looks good when you're in a group.

I think the color changes are just another thing for people to strive for when applying for groups / upgrades. I really hated the "no-upgrade" white, so I got L33T. (I also wanted the L33T benefits).

I got tired of the L33T color and benefits, so I got 3P1C. Currently I am quite happy with the bolded white, and I don't see any dramatic benefit changes, but the userbar is nice, and so are the colors.

I don't think we should have the option to change our usernames color. I like everything the way it is. Keeps everyone unified, but separated at the same time.

The only thing with people saying "switch between userbars" is that not everybody likes the Orange of 3P1C or the yellow/green of L33T or the blue of Ub3r. But some people do. So you can wear the userbar you want and still have your username color white or default to the userbar. And the best part is... HF's Online list doesn't become a rainbow because white is already used for a username color.
