Basically every crypter on this forum is copypasta and fails runtime, not a great example.

I don't consider that a source, you are just assuming that a lot of them bypass avast.

Last time I checked, Avast was one of the best anti-viruses in detection rates:

Better than avira, bitdefender, emsisoft and even ESET, stop spreading dumb shit and do some research please.

damn dude avast has more detection than every antivirus it must make it the best av out there

Not my point, no anti-virus is best, but Avast is definitely not "shit" like you claim.

avast is not shit but it's not good either

Yet you fail to explain why? You said "crypters bypass it" but thats not a valid argument, SHOW ME.

crypters bypassing it is more than a valid argument, no one spreads malwares without crypting it

ESET and every other anti-virus can also be bypassed, what makes Avast different?

eset detects more malwares than avast that's the difference

Again, do you have a source? From what I've seen, Avasts detection rate is better than ESET as shown in post #17.

every single crypter i have ever used has always been detected by eset and always bypassed avast, unless it had a bad icon/assembly

Right, because your experience with HF crypters is more credible than independent non-biased anti-virus testers, you could be lying. I could even counter that with "Well in my experience, crypters have always bypassed ESET and got detected by Avast"

Nobody will believe you if you have nothing to prove it with.

buy a crypter and check it out yourself then

Lol I'm not going to waste my money on this argument, you know you are wrong and just jumped on the "Avast is bad" bandwagon, you have no proof therefore you lost.
This thread has gotten derailed.

Has OP's situation been resolved?
