The idea of gambling worthless hack points in a few simple games is pretty appealing to me. We would just need something to work towards with those points. The Ace of Spades award possibly?

I think 2 and 4 are something to consider for sure and although since this is technically a general/multi purpose forum with the way it is currently used not sure about in its past days but with the name still being hackforums it wouldn't hurt to add the fake hacking option either.

Either way in my personal opinion hackforums falls under the general/multi purpose forum and for its future it needs to expand into other things as well so adding games, points and gambling just creates a more user friendly and more fun platform for people to enjoy.

But I do like as one user suggested a game point system, maybe add a point system that can be integrated into multiple things as well

Three is a great idea, and I would like to add onto it.

Points earned from gambling can also be used in community created contests. For example, I would be able to create a thread asking members to submit their best insult towards me. Each reply would require the user to buy-in to the thread and fund the prize pool with imaginary hacker points. The winner will be chosen via community voting, ideally something like the pole system we already have. The prize pool can then be distributed in percentages to first, second, and third place.

I think that idea could be expanded upon and lead to a lot of fun threads on HF.
