Not really like that, you just play the same way as the normal game but you can duel other people, join tournaments, trade pokemon, items, and stuff like that. But overall, the game is just the same as the normal one, the duel thing is just optional (not really needed to win/rank up in the game). Would be nice to battle gym leaders controlled by a human.

It's now like an online version of link, pretty good, it's actually been existing for a couple of years already, haven't heard of it before, I would have played it more.

Cyndaquil. It looked both cute and tough to me. And when it evolved into a Typhlosion, it was by far the most beautiful thing that I have ever laid my eyes on. It was also severely over leveled compared to the other Pokémon I've seen because I thought they would make cute pets.
