When using freeDNS in the ip/dns field use your dynamic DNS hostname you setup when you created your account.

ie. hackforums.afraid.org

Edit: Just so you know the idea of a vpn is to hide your true ip. Never use your home ip.

There is a freedns updater for windows over at techknowpro [dot] com/freedns/ may help.
Hi! I think I still have a problem with my DNS but I am not sure. When I paste the link into my browser, I get : Error; Address has not changed.

How do I fix this issue? I have followed your tutorial and it is written very well, but I haven't been able to correct this yet. Thank you!

EDIT: Nevermind I must be blind. This is a good sign that I got this, not an actually error ahaha! Sorry! Thanks for the tutorial!

Yeah this is easy. Just like the no-ip client.

It means that your old IP and new IP are the same IP and it does not need to change anything on it's end. There is not a problem there.

Wish I would've seen this post 5hrs ago!!! Been racking my brain trying to figure out what I did wrong lol😭
I just made a .vbs script that makes a web request to the DNS Update API then pops up a message box with the result. Seems to work just as good, if not better.
I was having problems with the original tut.
I didn't do the \bin\ part right.

Now I get it. Installed just like you said ;)

But I still get this :

"ERROR: Address (my IP Adress here) has not changed."

I don't know what's wrong :/
Thank you very much for posting this! Resolved my issue with wget :)
Have the same problem with RA4W Vpn
I made this tutorial on a closed account when I was closed on HF.

Good to see it helping still.
