I didn't directly accuse him, I just suggested a person of his character could possibly do such a thing. My friend lost his accounts after a few weeks, so it could have been from something else.

Back in the days when Valve actively bought cheats, it was a common practice to launch backdoors on them, which could very well be misused.
Like for example Royal Hack who managed to steal some of Valve's forensics tools.

I've actually never seen copy-pasters do it, they are usually in the scene for some quick money. When they get detected they are gone though. Sad Valve isn't active anymore, so we could get some cleaning done, but then again, there is so many nowadays, that new ones have a hard time getting attention.

But that gives customers no guarantee of legal safety if they are misused, like 90% of all cheat companies are like this.
The only ones I know of with public information is Hexui, Chods and Aimware of providers with csgo cheats, but there is around 80-150 providers in the west nowadays....

Well in Germany this is actually considered "unfair competition". Due to the fact that a cheat operates in their Game, you will be considered as a competitor. As a competitor it is not allowed to have a user break your competitors ToS due to how you or your product operates.

That sounds really wierd, that it would be considered competetition when it's a given the end-user has to buy the product from blizzard in order to use bossland's product. I actually used to be quite close with some of the devs from Bossland way back. From how I understood it was more related to that it was fully automated and the player didn't even have to play, and the economically negatives that it had to blizzard, but ye they might prolly not even have known much themself about the lawsuit I guess.
There is definitely differences across countries, but I was in the belief countries in the EU were much the same.
