It's not called an RDP, it's called a VPS or a Dedicated Server. RDP is Remote Desktop Protocol, as you mentioned, but that isn't what the actual servers are called. RDP is just the protocol used to connect to certain remote servers.

Also, personally, I think it's safer to create a hidden O.S. within a shell O.S. that is there to fool people. TrueCrypt provides to tools to do so, as I'm sure you know.

Another note, people should be careful with Tor and commercial VPNs. While they may not the log the sites, people's connecting IP is 99.99% of the time logged. Even with Tor, it's been proven that there are bad nodes, e.g. nodes under surveillance, also something to consider.

I would hope people who are considering commit large-scale crime or serious crimes, I would advise being far more careful than this.

Overall though, great guide for the average person.
