What skill-set(s) do you have to offer?: I am currently working on marketing online, have been very into it in the past but have taken a break to focus on school. I am currently at University studying a Bachelor of Information Technology, so I am slowly learning to program and will eventually be able to list this as a skills set to be a valuable part of your group.
How can your skill-set(s) benefit our group?: I know Hackforums fairly inside out, as well as PayPal systems, Bitcoins, and basic programming. If any other Fortune members are having difficulty with any one of those things I will be there to help.
Any proof of latest projects/work: Currently I only sell an eBook on Hackforums which I don't think of as a project, but I am looking to embark on an investment venture in the near future.
Why should we choose you?: I believe I would be a great addition to the group as I am always up for meeting new people, and therefore will be constantly engaged in group discussion. I also have knowledge in money and computers, which seems to be the two strong points of the group making me a perfect selection.

I am going to be applying for all of them for multiple reasons I can support and back up.

What skill-set(s) do you have to offer?:
This is where I said I can back up my statement for applying for all of the sectors. I am experienced in the marketing field with marketing tons of items and services all over the internet. I used to also do a little bit of affiliate marketing and I learned some tricks of the trade to make some good money off of marketing that way. I use my marketing skills on hack forums to sell my projects and services that I run better, which works for me.

My other skill-set I have is Graphic Design. I have been doing graphic design for about three or four years now. I actually had a graphics service here on hack forums but I ended it due to it going inactive but I still do other works for members that ask me on skype and etc.. Otherwise I do a lot of work for eSports teams and members that contact me on twitter.

Now for programming I am a little special when it comes to this skill. I am taking programming classes in school this year and we are currently learning c++. Once this class is done I will continue to move on and learn more and more on how to program better and better. Which I think your group will have lots of high quality and experienced programmers in it that could help me out with any questions I may have. So as of right now I only know the basics ins and outs of c++ but am learning something new every day.

How can your skill-set(s) benefit our group?:
My skill-sets can benefit your group in multiple ways. For my first skill I mentioned of marketing I can help out any other members who have questions related to marketing and teach them tricks I have learned on how to make things sell better on hack forums and have a good run with it instead of having it flop.

As far as my skills of graphic design go I could do graphic design for any members who need it when I am online. Or if the group or any members are starting any new projects if they need some help with graphics I can come in and assist them in that field of my expertise.

For programming since I am learning it I can't really help out much members if they have any questions or program anything for members. Although I would be very active in discussing programming as I am trying to learn everything I can about it that I possibly can.

I'm submitting an application for a position within the General sector of the usergroup, seeing as I don't quite have the skillset to be placed within the programming or marketing sections. Perhaps later down the line I will make a transition from "General" to one of the other available sections, but at the meantime I'm pretty much useless in either of the two, so I'm going to stick with "General" for now,

What skill-set(s) do you have to offer?:

  • I have been into graphical design for quite a number of years - probably around five now - and have been using image-manipulation software such as GIMP, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and quite a few others. I included GIMP in the list because it was one of the original image-manipulation applications I used when I was in the beginning stages of graphical designing, just learning the ropes while watching YouTube video tutorials on how to use certain tools within the application.
    
    I currently own a copy Adobe Photoshop CS6 which I use for creating forum avatars and signatures. I'm quite rusty when it comes to graphic design because I took a long break from it for a while and then lost interest all together. I do find the application quite handy to have, because I tend to search for artwork online and then crop the images so they're the appropriate size for forum avatars. On most forums I visit, I'm obsessed with my profile having a matching colour scheme - this meaning I would have my avatar matching my username and userbar colour. 😕

• Web-mastery
  
  • Web-mastery is one of my larger interests. I have owned several forums which use MyBB forum software and one of them gained quite a large amount of activity and user registrations. The forum accumulated around forty-thousand posts, three-thousand members and six-thousand forum threads. I was constantly looking for ways to update my board and make it appear more unique, seeing as it's difficult to do that nowadays with the amount of gaming-related communities out there. I would request to have custom themes and plugins made in order to entice non-registered individuals to create an account. Unfortunately I had to give up the forum because it was around the time of my school examinations and I couldn't spend time administrating the board and finding time for revision. The board was merged into a much larger general-discussion community, which is still up and running to this day. I'm not going to mention the name of it though.

How can your skill-set(s) benefit our group?:
The skills I possess could benefit the usergroup in a couple of ways. If need be, I could assist in mentoring other individuals within the usergroup and help them extend their knowledge. Although I'm very busy nowadays, I could give it a shot, however, I can't make any promises unfortunately. I could also assist other members within the usergroup with their questions and concerns regarding anything relating to gaming, web-mastery, graphic designing and automotive repair. I didn't mention these skills in the list above because I didn't deem "gaming" eligible for being considered a "skill". I'm quite knowledge in the console-related field of gaming, especially Xbox 360 and Xbox One systems.

Automotive repair is part of my everyday life. I wake up and head into work to diagnose and repair issues with vehicles. I primarily work on pick-up trucks which includes performing pre-delivery inspection checks, servicing & MOT preparations, tyre-changing, brakes and so forth. We also have vehicles arriving in with other problems, which we then would have to carry out a diagnosis check to find the source of the problem and then carry out the necessary procedures to get the vehicles back on the road again. It's not an exciting job, but it's a good career to be in.

Unfortunately I don't any recent examples of my work, considering I haven't done any graphic designs/image-manipulation in over two years, but if you would like to see some examples of my past work, be sure to give me a shout and I'll either send you a private message or update this application. 😉 I can't really provide examples of my automotive repair work or anything gaming-related, as I'm not sure how I could do that, unless I were to take pictures of some of the vehicles I've been working on, but that would require me to be at work.

Why should we choose you?:
I believe I should be selected for a position within the Fortune usergroup because I can represent the usergroup in a positive manner. Newer registrants to Hack Forums may have a question or a concern - I am willing to assist them with their concerns, thus promoting quality throughout the usergroup. I know it may sound daft, and it may also seem like a pretty generic thing to respond to this question with, but it's the truth. It would be great to become a part of an official usergroup on HF, because at the moment, it feels as if I'm aimlessly responding to threads on the forum and not getting to know anyone on a more personal level. Having access to a usergroup and a private sub-forum would allow me to meet more members who hopefully share the same interests as I do.

I'm a down-to-earth and friendly bloke once you get to know me a bit better. I won't tear you apart because you attempt to engage in conversation with me, and I can act a bit silly at times, but I tend to keep that to Skype group chats, rather than on the board. 😎 Receiving an invitation to an official usergroup would make a huge impact on my time spent on HF - because at the moment, I'm having little-to-no enjoyment spending time lurking around the board finding threads to pointless respond to. Having access to a private sub-forum and engaging in discussion with other group members would give me something more to do.
