Apply and accepted are two very different things ;) I know that better than most.
Buying l33t is like saying "I kinda like this forum and I don't want to see ads" but buying ub3r is more like "I am at least somewhat dedicated to this forum." I just don't see why someone who, for example, is really interested in cryptocurrencies but doesn't have money to blow on being blue should suffer at the hands of the minority of asshole scammers.

Anyone has the potential to go scam, even group owners have in the past. There is no way to completely remove scamming, but this greatly reduces the chances.

It's an easier way to weed out those who are dedicated to both the forum and the community. If you don't get accepted for Ub3r there's probably a reason.

Why not allow 3p1c people create threads, we after all are the first to buy something official from HF with OMC.

Last i checked 3p1c is cheaper than l33t, it wouldn't be very logical imo.

Sad to see this happen. Was going to put up a thread for OMC so I could get 3p1c. It's almost impossible to find an exchanger for Paypal.

I actually completely agree with this change unlike a lot of others. If someone can't have their account checked over and approved for a ub3r group membership then why should they be allowed to trade. I think this is the first step into drastically lowering the scamming on HF.

So what your saying is if someone is approved of Ub3r they never scam and are 100% legit?

Scams will be reduced greatly but still be wary of ub3rs as they cannot be completely trusted. I refuse to givr tjis site any money until I know I can feel somewhat comfortable using this marketplace.
