Socialites - Recruitment #1 | A New Beginning...

Why do you want to join Socialites?
I want to join Socialities because the first 30 minutes after a user registers will determine what they will think of the community aswell as whether or not they will stick around or log out and never be heard from again.

Would you be able to answer general questions about this forum?
Of course. I've been a member of HackForums for roughly 2 years, I think I get how things work.

Have you made positive contributions Hack Forums community in the past, and if so what was it?
How would you try to get people to this forum/make new members stay?
By PMing welcomes to new users including my alternative Discord so they can contact me if they need any support or have any questions. I would also spend more time welcoming new members in Introductions.

Is there anything we can do for you?
Acceptance would be all I need  😉

Have any additional comments?
Thank you for reviewing my application!
Why do you want to join Socialites?
  • I really like the idea of helping new members grow. When a new member gets a warm welcome and finds what they came here for, they stay. A group dedicated to giving users the best possible experience throughout the community sounds like a great idea. So in short, the main reason I want to join is because I believe in what you're doing and think it will leave a positive impact on our community.

Would you be able to answer general questions about this forum?
  • Definitely. Hack Forums has been in my life for a very long time. I always try to stay up on the HF News, and make a point of rereading the Help Docs from time to time so I am up to date on the newest changes.

How would you try to get people to this forum/make new members stay?
  • Often times people see new users post threads that are...well... lackluster. This usually results in the newer member getting neg repped and hated on. We have to understand that this may be their first time on ANY FORUM. Our goal should be to help them learn to post better quality threads so that they can get the most out of their HF experience. I would accomplish this by being active throughout the site, welcoming members and getting to know them a bit. This would center mainly around Introductions and Lounge, and branch into the rest of the site. I would be very interested in brainstorming with the group to figure out what sort of threads/activities we could come up with to encourage new members to stick around. However, getting a member to stay doesn't have to include a grand gesture. Simply writing a welcome PM or throwing a few Bytes their way accompanied by a positive note could give someone a great first impression of the community.

How would you try to get people to this forum/make new members stay?
  • The only two things I could ask of you is to work with me to leave a positive impact on the community, and to try to get to know me better. The closer the group members get, the greater your impact will be! Working together is always better.

Final Note:
  • Thank you for the opportunity to apply for your group! It's nice to see a group focused around helping members throughout the community, not just it's own members. Best of luck to everyone applying! If you have any further questions, my inbox is always open!

I can confidently print hello world, what about you?
Why do you want to join Socialites?
  • I would like to join Socialites because I have no life outside of the Internet, the people I talk to online are the only people I talk to in life, I would love to get a chance to be apart of something that doesn't just involve making money, hacking, and gaming. A few things I can say about myself is, I am always brutally honest with everyone, I don't rob, steal or cheat people, I have been called the most genuine person someone has ever met more then a few times. I like to help others if they aren't feeling to well, or if they're just having a bad day, or some bad luck, I have talked multiple people OUT of committing suicide even people I barely knew, or did not know at all. I actually give a shit about quality of things in general, I never follow trends or try to emulate what someone else has started. This group seems to be the most fitting for myself, I don't normally ask to join groups, but The Socialites really caught my attention. Thank You.

Would you be able to answer general questions about this forum?
  • Yes, I believe so, I'm not an expert on ToS and i'm not currently updated on all the new rules they recently added, but I have been a member of Hack Forums for a Long time now and I pretty much know the ins, and outs of the forum.

Have you made positive contributions Hack Forums community in the past, and if so what was it?
  • I offer my help to people in the Vices section about what drugs SWIM shouldn't do, I have also shared my knowledge about cryptocurrency and trading a few times, I Upgraded to L33T then UB3R (obviously lol) I don't have a lot of money ill admit, but I would give you the shirt off my back if I could.

How would you try to get people to this forum/make new members stay?
  • First off, I would explain to them what NOT to do, because more or less once you do something wrong or against the rules on this forum, your reputation as a member is automatically frowned upon and nobody will trust you in future dealings, I would try to explain to them that they need to be patient on here, don't get jealous of other members "fancy" Userbars, Awards, and so on, the people that have those kind of Profiles on the forums dedicated A LOT of time, effort and especially money, Donations never hurt either if you want to up your coinage on here. I would also make it a point to NEVER SCAM anyone on here

Is there anything we can do for you?
  • The only thing I would ask of your community is that you give me a chance to become a part of your community.

Have any additional comments?
  • Like I mentioned in my first paragraph, I'm not the kind of person that feeds off of attention and envy, I just want to be a part of a group of people that I can not only relate to, but learn from, and teach any and all information I have in my tool box. Thank you for taking the time to read and review my application.
