It's been extended by another 48 hours.

I would join but I have no idea what I'd make, I'm not very creative when it comes to Valentines Day themes. Looks like Doge has this one in the bag yet again.

EDIT: I will not be using this as my entry. See newest post for final submission.

Had almost no time to work on this. Decided to push something simple out yet it still pushed my comfort zone. Just more experience for future projects.

Here is a rose I was attempting to implement but couldn't:

I know my graphic isn't expressly Valentine's related (though in an abstract sense it does kind of fit the theme - pink, with infinite zoom into the void we like to call love) however I had a couple people ask me to post here, so I did. It's a good initiative and I want to support it. Next month I'll try and get something done specifically for this contest.

EDIT: Whoops, thought you meant to enter with my existing sig. I'll see if I can get a proper entry done tonight.

EDIT2: Here's my "proper" submission. I only had 30 min to spare so I whipped up something quick. I'll spend more time on the next one. It's a continuation of the exploration of ideas that started in my actual HF signature. You might think it's not very "Valentine's-y" but believe it or not, the text is masking a rose/flower texture, and it does have a fair amount of pink in it 😝

Submission (If animated GIFs are allowed - the OP says only PNG24, but it fits every other requirement):

Thanks, and GL everyone. I particularly like #Doge's submission.

After reviewing all submissions, we (the three judges) have unanimously voted #Doge's submission as February 2017's Graphic of the Month winner. We thank you all once again for entering and hope to see you all compete in the next GotM (April).
